Ya know...those buildings just don't do it for me. I guess its a case where I know he's using mirrored tile (I think?) so when I see these I see....large mirrored tile boxes. Thus the illusion of these being modern skyscrapers is lost on me. I don't know, maybe I'm spoiled have seen the work of the folks on this forum, but these just don't impress me that much.
Now, if it wasn't mirrored tile, but etched acrylic that you could add lighting to the interior, I might be a little more intrigued, but even then, they're fairly boring looking....they make the Atlas skyscrapers look exciting! :-)
Some of his building are awesome even if it is mirrored tile others, I am like uh wtf, but then again I am like that with some real life building as well, ie:
Amtrak's Cira Building in Philly.
It really ruins the feel of 30th St Station and if I dare the look of the area around 30th St Station.

Will I love new architecture and I love old architecture too. Sometimes the blend and compliment each other well. Like the Old huge Cathedrals amongs office towers in Chicago. But sometimes like this it looks odd and gross.
